    It is possible but I don't see any wear from something sitting on it on top. There are 2 "vents" on the lid.

    I can make out 188 the rest of the numbers could be 047. I tried a pencil rub. I thought that may be the case but they are definitely numbers...

    Thank you Ownedbybear. The "R" site has a pattern called May under Furnivals that looks like it may be it but it is a lousy picture
