Technically I believe it is a punch or cider bowl. Tureen and rumtopf are just key words for the title. Yes there is a cut out for the ladle

Note the rounded bottom edge ;-) This is info I had receive on the Blenko FB page mentioned above.
I don't believe it is Blenko. Blenko pinched tumbler have a more rounded edge on the bottom. As mentioned above Bischoff is a good possibility.
