Looks like a piece of leaverite.
With the llama probably from Peru.
No reason they would look close. The OP's signature was done with a junky "engraving" pen,the Ebay sig was done with a professionally made stamp.
In the second photo the stone appears to have air bubbles.
If it were natural turquoise the water would soak into the surface.
Looks like dyed/stabilized mystery stone,put a small drop of water on the stone and see what happens.

There appears to be marks on the twisted wire below the scarabs also. Do you have a loupe or magnifying glass?

No carving/engraving on the piece,the wires were fused much like the granulation process with small spheres.

Looks like someone made a mold of an original and cast a poor copy.
It doesn't appear to be carved,possibly made with mitsuro hikime wax.
Need a better photo of the maker's mark.
The 'pools' of silver is solder not plating.
