I believe the building and location is Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine in Fukuoka, Japan.
The watercolor by Barbara Simmons Feinstein is my favorite of this group. The Fred Ewoldt is interesting.

I found a keeper at auction. He's bronze and stands 6 11/16" tall. [ATTACH] No foundry mark and a degraded artist signature leads me to believe...
