It's a nice vase, Japanese for sure - the style reminds me of some Fukagawa I've seen, but mark isn't that factory ...again, nice vase though!

I always call this stuff Yokohama ware
It is ormolu-like of course but I guess I was splitting hairs saying it wasn't "true" ormolu. It is more likely to be gold-plated (electroplate)....

I'd call this a gilded brass mount, not actual ormolu ... not sure of origin but looks European 1870 -1890 ish imo
