looks Danish to me.
I think this miniature is by a minor or provincial portraitist, as (to my eye) the work is rather stiff and pose somewhat ungainly.
Paint it again, results will be more satisfactory IMO

I checked out your painting in the gallery. In my opinion, the cost of insurance will exceed the value of the painting, so don't bother insuring it.
20thc ...maybe even 21st ..nice quality though, probably par of a set, would have come in wooden box more than likely.
