Could this be from the 60's? There is a mark on the left side. [ATTACH] [ATTACH] [ATTACH] [ATTACH] [ATTACH] [ATTACH] [ATTACH] [ATTACH]...
Thanks Bakers, I don't think I will figure it out. No big deal.
I did take another look at the mark after looking thru 925.1000 again. Maybe it's Stephen Castan & Co Philly PA Active 1820 [ATTACH]
Thanks Ghopper.
Aquitaine, my opening post stated this mark...C & Co. Sterling 925 Fine
Bron, cool link. May be Malacca wood. Thanks!
This one is also interesting. It lost the covering on the bottom. What kind of wood is this? These came out of my grandma's house years ago....
I inherited (no, nobody died) 2 canes. 1 has a horn handle and a sterling band, C & Co. Sterling 925 Fine. I cannot find whose mark this is....
Was looking again at images and my pot.. My pot has a steam hole. Probably not a wine pot.
Cray, you may be right. Have been looking at images. It' a little more fancier then a tea pot.
Couch, just a smushed part.
Couch, here is my original teapot post...with all the pictures. https://www.antiquers.com/threads/origin-of-dark-brown-stoneware-teapot.49099/
Picked up this vase recently. I like the ring of color at the base. Any idea on age? Maybe 60's 70's? [ATTACH] [ATTACH] [ATTACH] [ATTACH]...
Thank you everyone! @Couch Potato Wannabe Is this a newer teapot? Just someone using old script?
I should add that even though they went to the wrong spot to meet, they were really insistant they come today, but I didn't want to wait 45 more...
A while back I posted this teapot, it's Chinese...I put it out on FB Marketplace. Why would someone offer $5 more then what I am asking? Is this...
