It's looks like a synthetic with scissors cut.
Probably seeing the link won't help.It appears the ring in the photo had a 3/4 shank replacement and probably came out of a jeweler's scrap drawer.

I see nothing in the photos to suggest these were hand chased.The horse appears to be die stamped/embossed and the Christ appears to have been cast.

Hard to say from the photos,it could have been a metal or wax model.
