Thanks I wasn't sure. I have seen some lockets that hold fluid for 'tears' or holy water. I have seen them listed as mourning lockets or pendants.
I know Masons did some chinoiserie patterns. The colors seem quite vibrant. Just not sure.

So it looks like pewter but tested as strong as any sterling pieces I have tested. Before I polished it, it was black. Very heavy and the floral...
reminds me of Spanish Portuguese...does have a curule form base though.
I know I have seen this before - reminded me of some Vienna /KPM style miniatures only this is on bronze with impressed initials under the foot....
