I think this was a little night table or boudoir lamp. If it was Tettau, I'd expect to see a mark. I'm thinking this might be one of many German...
Well, there were only so many made, and some people collect pieces with staple repairs, so no, there's still value, but not as much as one in good...
Sorry, that was me. I'm a moderator of the British Pottery and Porcelain Discussion group on Facebook. I just wanted to confirm my...
Yes, I read the whole article, too. It was interesting and lots of good info of what to look for in period pieces.
Does look like a trivet except it the surface is fluted so kinda wobbly to set stuff on. Lid for a chamber pot? Chimney flue cover?
LOL, very similar to my husband and me, but in reverse! My endeavours cost us money whereas anything my husband does makes money! PS: we have...

Yes, a bell. If it was a Shakespearean character, Crown Staffordshire would have included the name on the base. I have a few CS Shakespeare...
Yes, a nice set and I was going to say c. 1920, but I got interrupted before I replied! I've seen this sort of air-brush technique on the...
Perhaps an early fairing?
Oh, now I see A S & Co. What does the potteries.org say for that one? :D

Separate names with a comma.
