Thanks again for the pearl info! I did wonder if the bracelet is moonstone or just a foggy glass! I couldn't see any mark for silver, but...
The silver pin is base metal and I think supposed to look like silver filigree. It's quite pretty and has a small bit of black glass in the...
Thanks for the info! I think my niece wants it! :shame: I wondered about the finish -- it is a bit worn, but it's not a "junky" piece.
Thanks for the dating. It's not really a set, but the earrings, bracelet and necklace all have the chips in them. Didn't know if anyone is...
Well, it won't get chucked in the bin, but will go to the thrift I think. That's my way of recycling! Will get my cousin to put on his glasses...
Thanks -- I couldn't remember if rough meant fake or real for pearls. I think they're all fake, only one seemed to be slightly rough on my teeth....

Ooh, very nice, Bev!
Not a mistake, but a felicitous error in identification! It's a handsome piece, and if in good condition, I can see it selling quite well.
I wouldn't know for sure, but the design looks more Italian than Dutch to me. Walter would know for sure.
Well, I totally agree, mid-19th c. cup with ring handle. Nice bit of painting, but it might be quite a search to find a matching saucer even if...

I think that's a cockerel which is a mark used by the Cantagalli company of Italy. However, it is a mark that is faked.
I'm thinking Dudson maybe. Wedgwood also did stuff like this, but it would be marked. But I don't know for sure.
My spelling will be incorrect, but I think that mark might be cawtalpa leaf which is seen on some Chinese porcelain. I'm really bad at dating and...
