What is EBTH?
I was wondering about home hobbyist, too, but I think I see USA at the end of the impressed name.
OK, here's my guess -- post WW2, German, Bohemian, Austrian possibly, and marked "Foreign" to mask country of origin...
I agree with Don. Some of the "decorative" Japanese import stuff is better made than some would think. I find Otagiri is pretty good quality stuff.
Don't know who made it, but I doubt the G signifies Gouda. Doesn't look like Gouda style. So many factories made items with Dutch motifs on them.
I'm leaning towards English, mid 19th c. Sweet, with underglaze blue simulating marble, I think.
Brandy new! ;)
Rhiwfield, can you pm me a photo of the entire base. I've got a young fellow who might be able to narrow it down further. I have a need to...
I struck out with the other group. :(
This is bronze, not pottery or porcelain? Oh well. I don't recognize the letters/initials, but I would suspect that it's a limited edition.
I've posted your pix of the base (hope that's OK) to another site that has some Wedgwood experts on it. Will post any reply here.
Continental, I think. Bohemia?
Yeah. Late 19th/early 20th c. "ivory" porcelain, or sometimes "blush ivory" if there is a pinkish or peach tinge. I'm having a CRS moment.
Not my piece, but I can't place this mark. Anyone have an idea? Thanks! [ATTACH] [ATTACH]
Cool finds! Wonder what the centenary is for on the Swiss Army knife?

Continental European, I think. The scene reminds me of some Anton Pieck paintings. I can't read the mark, I and B or J and B. The artist's name...
I absolutely LOVE that! :beaver: :zombie::beaver:
