Most likely Japanese. Early 20th century maybe.
It looks like a print on the pictures but it is not. Had to use a flash because of the glass and it came like this.
Looks like a nice piece to me but no visible signature. Is it worth taking it out of the frame? [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
Any idea of the maker? Thanks [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
Thanks. By the way, any keywords for the decoration on the last pot? I am trying to find similar but don't know what to search for.
Thanks. I can access the link. The sellers says it is a French artist but not with certainty. So, could be California islands or European ones....
The company was registered 1961 so I guess the piece is from about the 60's/70's? The signature looks like Benet, right? Any idea of the location?...
I dug out a pot that I had for quite a while. But it is missing the lid and the glaze looks kind of contemporary to me. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
Anyone recognizes the mark or a studio piece? Thanks [IMG] [IMG]
Thanks.
Looks like done by a child but the signature is kind of more mature. Bad art? [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
Not sure if a recent Chinese import or something else. The body has a gritty texture and the neck lustre like glaze. [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
Older or more recent? [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
Any help with the age? Thanks [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
Thanks again. Do you think it is a good idea to update the info in the auction? Maybe that can attract more bidders?
Appears to have some age but don't know how old. What looks like a signature is a puzzle to me. Any thoughts? Thanks [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
Debating between Chinese or Japanese. The motif and the foot are Chinese. In my opinion antique. But the decoration is more like Japanese looking....
It is kind of embossed. It is some kind of intaglio print.
Thanks Nuff. You know how many yixing pots I've passed because they look new to me. It is quite of a mystery to tell which one are the valuable...
Not sure if plated or an alloy. What that mark could be? Mid Eastern? [IMG]
Separate names with a comma.
