    Yes, it is very similar to St.Clair and others as you have mentioned . I have never seen the "DR" mark and a quick web search of my saved...

    Yes--surely has some age to it ...and I think it is a Clematis (maybe Dahlia)..unsure about maker, though not leaning towards St.Louis or Baccarat.
