So I have a 10k child’s ring (size 3). Very dainty and thin. I don’t have a scale so can someone give me a idea of what one would sell it for??? I was offered $23.

No idea on the value but I bought electronic scales very cheaply from eBay. Maybe not spot on accurate but enough to give me a working idea.
I've not sold any gold but I'd have thought you need to get the weight and then ring round to see what people are offering?. I wouldn't take the first offer without checking others.
Maybe a nice person at the post office would weigh it for you?

23 sounds light for 10K........but i'd say take it and move on..

My grandmother had such tiny fingers that no one,not even my mother who has tiny fingers, can wear her rings. $23 sounds about right for scrap weight. Id try sell it as a childs ring , you might get a tad more.

I have some like that from my grandmother. They are tiny and too small by far for me. I can’t quite bring myself to scrap them though.....

I doubt that's much over a gramme and a half, so $23 is about right.
