    Gm everyone I took it to a pawn shop just to see the weight and what they would give, it weighed 7.5 grams.. said they could give me $80.00 that seems low, what do u guys think?

    7.5 grams 14 k = 182.11 melt, take away the weight of the pearls perhaps 3 grams +- and you have 4.5 grams = 109.26. Since it was a pawn shop you do well getting 50% of value so 80 bucks was pretty good for scrap. I personally would never take stuff to a pawn shop but for most that have no access to a refiner or have the volume needed its the only choice.

    Before I go to a scrapper I weigh my pieces and check the melt price. Then if I get a low offer I say I can't do that, I was hoping for $XYZ for them. Most scrappers will work with me, if they don't, I find another one.

    Doesn't really matter with the badly repaired damage,I wouldn't want it.
