Hi, what time period do you think this is from. I want to say Edwardian or Art Deco. It's 14k and pale amethyst, about 15 inches long. The amethyst is pretty pale. I think I would call it rose de france. Agree?
    Thanks for any help.

Edwardian ones are usually more complex , with multiple swags and on finer chains. This is transitioning to art deco.

A search for 'bookchain necklace' will turn up others with the same feeling.

The pale amethysts were the fashion of the day in the 1910s, at least in the USA, but Belle Epoque era pieces were fancier usually. Early 20s is probably right. Everything went to white gold here right after that.
