    Greetings All

Picked this up a local auction and I thought it was very cool. It is a 54" framed shipbuilder's model of a Three Masted Barque?? with a hand engraved plaque saying "Winterman & Poole Ltd, 1849".

Definitely has a lot of age to it and there is a lot of staining on the wood at the back. Old glue is on the back shows significant craquelure. There is quite a bit of missing side trim but overall it is in great shape. The hull is solid wood and there is a fair amount of detail on the deck and its figurehead.

I cannot find any reference to this company anywhere.

    Is this a Barque??

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Best Regards
