Featured 18KT band for under scrap, Anyway to date this piece?

I bought this lovely band today for $70 under scrap as it was destined to be melted. I figure it is pretty old but I doubt there is anyway to tell. The mark looks like it could be older but I have never seen a mark where the T in KT is made smaller with a dot underneath. The initials unfortunately do not provide a date. Worth a shot to post it and see if anyone can help!

No idea, but it seems to be in good shape. I've melted some wedding bands in the past, but only those worn past use.

The mark is remarkably similar to those I've been seeing on brass lately

The small letter over a dot looks like a 19th C abbreviation convention to me.
I have seen similar in watch cases I know to be 19th C.

A lot of those brass ones with fake stamps around at the moment.
Not this style but usually the chunky men's type.

I'd bet the farm on that not being brass.

Just funny that these fakes are using that style mark

Can you show the fake mark? Just curious.

It is the stamp that is similar to the fakes not the ring, especially with that engraving. Most of the fakes have a 750 on them too. I had one that came in a job lot but I think I chucked it in the next lot of costume jewellery I sold.
