    A corn cob pipe bowl, I believe Daveydempsey is as well.

    Mine is a 1880's clay pipe modeled with a stork holding a corn cob in it's beak, there are plenty of clay pipes in the form of corn cobs, it goes back to the association of USA and tobacco, to my knowledge I don't think corn cob pipes were ever smoked in the UK until recently, although I'm not really a pipe expert, I only dug them up from Victorian rubbish dumps when I was young.
