I believe it to be American; walnut and solid mahogany, not sure of the secondary wood used in the draws. Dimensions: 21" high, 18" wide 9" deep. Sadly, no secret draw and it smells of perfume rather than spices.

The bracket feet are 'backed up' with light maple(?) instead of glue blocks. I believe this addition is early 20th century given the crude angle brackets and machine made screws. I believe the bracket pieces are original as they match the color and grain of the walnut on the rest of the piece.
