[QUOTE="Bookahtoo, post: 854206, member: 31"]I was at my parent's house yesterday with one of my sister's - we are starting the process of cleaning out the house prior to listing it - and she was showing me what she had done in the garage. This photo was leaning up against some frames - she saw me spot it and said "Oh yeah, do you want that? So and so gave it to me, she thought I might like the frame." My eyes practically bugged out of my head, and I grabbed it so fast I got splinters.

The photo itself is 37 1/2" long. As far as the subject goes, I've found that the Annual Car Show started in 1908. This picture was taken in front of the Exposition Park in Rochester in 1916. The title on it says Strong Motors, Inc. "HOUSEWARMING", January 20, 1916 Parade of New York State "Chandler" Dealers in their new Model 17 Chandler cars. At the bottom it says "Taken in front of the Rochester, N.Y. Automobile Show."

Strong Motors was located in Rochester.

I'm sure there's a great history of this car show with lots of information but I haven't round it.

Can anyone help me with this?
