I bought a white, trimmed in red and blue 1940 era baseball uniform in a large shadow box made of glass and wood for my son's room, but it is way too tall to look good in there. I've decided to sell it at the Antique Festival this weekend.

I have no idea how to price it as I've seen prices all over on the internet.

It's shirts pants and socks with no team logo on it. It is adult size.

The shadow box itself is about 5.5 feet tall and weighs around 50 pounds.

Can someone help me put a price point on it? 20160414_111224.jpg

Just curious but . . . could you either get a close-up picture of the photograph which is placed in the middle of the "uniform" or could you describe what is in the photograph? ;)

Did the photo inside the shadowbox help you in "dating" the photo?

What is written on the label at the neckline of the shirt?

I know someone who would know but I can't contact hm right now. :p
    Without provenance anyway I can't imagine a ton-0-money....
    Brainstorming>>>>
Can you take bids at this event...maybe?
Set a reserve...maybe...and reveal it or not?
Figure to close it an hour or so before the show is over?
Get numbers and call the winner. No answer...next....
Do you take cards? Make them pay over the phone?

The pictures have nothing to do with the uniform, just something the man i bought it from added.

The tag is what I dated it with. It says macgregor goldsmith size 36.

It is going in my booth and the city is holding a big antique event, so there won't be any bid taking, just a flat price buy.

    I was thinking a $275 with a 10% of sale going on.
    Is that crazy?
