1943 North Africa Campaign maps - Colonne LeClerc

    I have several maps of the North Africa campaign of the Allies during WWII. All are dated 1943, by Henry Thomas, produced by Gouvernment Generale d'Algerie. I'll post one of the photos.
    I believe that they are originals, printed on fragile yellowed sheets of varying sizes. Should I wish to sell them, where would be the best way to do that? WWIImap5a.jpg WWIImap5b.jpg WWIImap5c.jpg

    I'm currently in northern Pa, but these were in a box lot at least fifteen years ago in northern Virginia. Many former military there.

    There's no reason not to think they're period. Google will bring up an AI overview for you. Determining a sales venue can depend on rarity. IMHO, reaching a broad collector market can be done on eBay. For rarer pieces, a specialist auction house might be a better choice.

    I would list them on eBay showing availability to eBay.fr (France) with the appropriate international shipping.
    They are showing campaigns in North African countries by the Free French military, obviously they were not printed on those dates as they are showing historic events.

    I had several maps for South East Asia that plans had been written on for bombing raids by the RAF.
    They sold well on eBay to the UK, Australia and Indonesia.
