1960's Birmingham Watercolours - Monogrammed

About 4 years ago I acquired 3 caricature watercolours depicting scenes in 1960's Birmingham. To my surprise I recently saw another watercolour (Queens Hotel ) by the same artist, which I promptly acquired. The watercolours are monogrammed with what looks like the initials SMG. Any thoughts/comments would be gratefully appreciated.

    I love those ! I couldnt find a "GMG" artist ,is that the initials you are seeing as well?

    Both the first and third letters are formed in the same way. Makes the monogram either GMG or SMS.
