    image.jpg image.jpg I recently picked this piece and did a little research. I see that prints are still being made of this series. I see price ranges all over the place of this one from $25 on up. Overall, I like this poster.

    Me too though I have never been on that island. Odd since my US Navy fire & nuclear/biological/chemical warfare school training was right there on Treasure Island.
    I probably didn't go because the Navy paid me so much money to risk my life and so I did so much with all those $ I lost track of where to spend it all. :p

    Hubby was drafted in 68. Did his basic at Great Lakes Naval Training Center in the winter. Fun. Then he was stationed at Monterey. Cushy. Then they transferred back to Newport and went off to Southeast Asia. After his fleet service, he stayed in the Reserves for 31 years total. I don't think he ever got to San Diego. He did teach at CECOS in Port Hueneme for a few years.
