Any idea where these may be coming from and possible age? Only the skis are iron, the rest is pot metal.
    Thanks

Skiing bulls sounds more fun, but I'd say they're using walking sticks and maybe dancing and they have an African look.

Hey Kardi, do you still have these? I accidentally found one last night scrolling through Google pictures of African art, then found a few more.

#0296 Early or Mid 20th Century West African Cast Aluminium Figure of a Masquerade Dancer circa 1920-1960 **SOLD**in our Liverpool Shop - Dec 2013
    [IMG]
A painted figure of a West African Masquerade dancer
wearing an Ox form mask. This item was made of cast
aluminium using the "lost wax" process, probably in
Ghana (possibly Nigeria) during the first half of the 20th Century..
Condition: Part of the mask collar might be missing and
there are losses to the original painting and some age
    degradation to the surface.
    11cm (4.3 inches) high.

    And a couple on Etsy:

    Description:
"The lady I acquired this from said that her friend was in the Diplomatic Corps in Nigeria and was presented with this as a parting gift when he left."

This seller is just guessing, but the pics are worth while.

I was searching for pictures of real people dressed in and dancing with poles in costumes like these, but haven't had any success yet. Ox, cow, bull or buffalo mask/helmet bring up some pics of similar head wear.

Anyway, I found a little info to build on and have in our archive here. ;)
