<p>
This is Imperial glass and has their iron cross mark, which dates it to the 1920s. It’s clear glass, 5 ½” tall, with some kind of coating. The question is twofold: is there a name for this shape, and is there a name for this texture?</p><p><br /></p><p><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v337/hoozzatt/Temp/ImperialGlassGoldLusterBalusterBombeVaseIronCrossMark-b_zpswdwgiwjy.jpg" class="bbCodeImage wysiwygImage" alt="" unselectable="on" /> </p><p><br /></p><p><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v337/hoozzatt/Temp/ImperialGlassGoldLusterBalusterBombeVaseIronCrossMark-e_zpsvca6wrba.jpg" class="bbCodeImage wysiwygImage" alt="" unselectable="on" /> </p><p><br /></p><p><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v337/hoozzatt/Temp/ImperialGlassGoldLusterBalusterBombeVaseIronCrossMark-g_zpscolz5cfm.jpg" class="bbCodeImage wysiwygImage" alt="" unselectable="on" /> </p><p><br /></p><p><br /></p><p>I told myself I wasn’t going to buy any more of this next type of glassware unless it had a siggy or label, but I haven’t seen this sort of clambrothy-pink top treatment before, so I broke a rule I’ve generally done a pretty good job of keeping. It measures about 7 ½” diagonally across the corners and stands about 2 ¾” high. So… any thoughts of who or when?</p><p><br /></p><p><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v337/hoozzatt/Temp/ArtGlassBowlClambrothPinkFlashing-a_zpsbnafkeyd.jpg" class="bbCodeImage wysiwygImage" alt="" unselectable="on" /> </p><p><br /></p><p><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v337/hoozzatt/Temp/ArtGlassBowlClambrothPinkFlashing-c_zpsdf9w8usp.jpg" class="bbCodeImage wysiwygImage" alt="" unselectable="on" /> </p><p><br /></p><p><img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v337/hoozzatt/Temp/ArtGlassBowlClambrothPinkFlashing-f_zpsfyc34dmh.jpg" class="bbCodeImage wysiwygImage" alt="" unselectable="on" />
</p><p><br /></p>
