If I'm really interested in one of your pic, I have to download it and try to change its perspective by rotating it so that it will be straight on. I do enjoy your wonderful pictures, but my old eyes and turning my creaky neck give me trouble seeing the details.</p><p><br /></p><p>As to the lady with plant, Victorians went gaga over botanical gardens, conservatories/glass enclosed gardens, and the bigger the better. The common Joes and Josephines unable to have the glass enclosures went all out on stuffing their homes with plants.</p><p><br /></p><p>Here is the conservatory at the Biltmore estate in Ashville, NC, one of the many Vanderbilt family's estates. Biltmore was built c1890 by George W. Vanderbilt II.
