22" TALL HAND CARVED(?) BLUTO & OLIVE OYL STATUES

    These were found in a storage unit won at auction by a friend (dang it no Popeye - he searched). They measure 22" tall & appear hand carved (especially Bluto's eye!).
    Are these hand carved custom pieces or hand carved looking mas produced pieces? - There are no signatures that I can find.

    Doesn't look fat enough to be Bluto or Skinny enough to be Olive ..artistic license? ...or some other characters?
