40’s? Partner Desk - Identify + value

    Hello,

    My first post! I recently acquired this partner desk and was interested in whether it was from the 1940’s like the previous owner indicated. I have reason to believe that it came from the Massachusetts area originally.

    Can anyone help me identify the maker of this desk?

    If you have any idea of the value of this piece that can be helpful as well!

    It needs a few touch ups to the finish so I was also wondering what would work best. Leaning towards a nice French polish using tinted shellac.

    New photo! Just polished it today with some lemon oil.
