Featured 800 Silver Russian Cigarettes Box

Marked with 800 and what looks like animal heads. The writing is in Russian.

 

There's plenty of silver people to answer better than I, but a quick Goggle search suggests the horse head might be Yugoslavia.

 

Definitely not Russian marks.

 

The writing is probably in Serbian, one of the Slavonic nations that use Cyrillic script, like Russia.
As mos suggested, the horse head mark is Yugoslavian, it is an import mark used from 1919-1933.
That means the box was made somewhere else. The 800 mark looks Italian, and neighbouring Italy would make sense.

Indeed the horse head appears to be an import 800 mark used in Yugoslavia. I also have number 2 near the head, probably for medium articles as number 1 is for small ones.
They used several different languages in Yogislavia, some in Latin, some in Cyrillic characters so probably Serbian or Croatian maybe.

 

Croatian is one of the languages that uses Latin script. It used to be called one language with Serbian, Serbo-Croatian, with two different scripts.
