What we call AI, today is anything but intelligent. It is a glorified supercomputer with astronomical speed and vast information. But in the end it is still garbage in, garbage out. It just thinks things out at around 200Billion times faster than us. Now when it ever becomes intelligent it would play out every possible thought or action you might consider and have a counter reaction for ever one 100 step before you even think of what you are going to do.

    YIKES!

I've just learned that not only is there an AI that will write your essay (ChatGpt), but that there are other AI apps that will then 'humanize' it-- adding a consistent idiosyncratic voice, intentionally using a consistent stylistic quirk, even adding an occasional misspelling, all so your teacher (me!) won't ever suspect you cheated!

    Yikes!
