    Just an idea, a lot of times these glass cameos come loose and the face comes off.

    The backs show quite frequently in junk boxes of jewelry.
    He might look good mounted to one of these and set in a nice bezel. Black is the most common, but there is a turquoisy blue and also white glass backing.

    Little guy is fixed:joyful:

    Just got the sterling tube to go around the remains of its mount, filed that remain so it could fit, cut sufficient length with jeweller saw, cut a steel junk hatpin, filled the tube with "hot stuff ultra gap filling" cyano acrylate, sprayed the activator to set, finished with a sterling jump ring held in place with same glue!:p

    Solid as solder, I didn't dare to heat my guy and risk a mess:facepalm:.
