    You did a lot of the heavy lifting, by finding the type of painting and the original image. I guess that @Mat identified the painting itself.

    Many thanks for your input. Yes, it is, isn't it.
    I'm curious about its value. I bought it via an online auction. They were raising funds for their dog shelter here in Cyprus.

    There are quite a few in completeds on eBay,none exactly like yours but similar. I don't know which country you're situated in but on ebay.co, they don't seem to fetch much.
    EDIT! You're in Cyprus. I should learn to read!
