A Savage & Co Tabletop Tea Mill - need help to date / identify

Discussion in 'Tools' started by Becky Barn Fresh, May 16, 2021.

  1. Afternoon all
I bought from a barn yesterday a couple of pieces of equipment.
I am trying to identify what this piece is, I think it is for milling tea but any help would be fantastic savage1.jpg savage2.jpg savage3.jpg
It has a clear label on which reads: Savage & Co, tea machinery and general engineers incorporating W Bartlett & Son Ltd - 22 Danbury St, Islington, London England Est 1812 - No 13150

    Many thanks
    Becky

Can't help with what it is, but that's a great find. Sympathetically restored it's going to be very desirable.
