Featured A Small Pottery Trio

These were all together, although I doubt there’s a whole lot in common. The largest of the three is about 7” tall and not marked…in the dark brown it has that sort of rusty orange peel glaze that I’ve seen on utilitarian earthenware type pots. The small pitcher has a stamp but most of it too faint to make out.

 

I wonder whether @anundverkaufen knows about the last one in particular. Truro is on Cape Cod and he knows the area well.

 

Lake's Cornish Pottery Truro, for the last one--the Cornwall Truro. The middle one says Rushmore.

 

I think the other is a Chinese bottle for wine or such. Try searching Chinese tiger whiskey.

Top image....tallest 7" jug.....on the bottom, at the bottom edge....I've cropped it... I'd almost swear it looks like there's a date there, but I've also been wrong at times too!! Squared off in red....might be worth a look if you have a Loupe....

Unfortunately on close inspection with a loupe I don’t see a date.

 

Worth a shot, anyway!!!
