Advice on identifying an antique sofa please

    I have an antique sofa which belongs to my parents. I wondered if anyone could identify it for me, as I haven't found anything quite like it. Thanks

    Out of the hundreds of furniture mfrs,, no way can one identify it ! Looks typical late 30`s or 1940`s style ! Appears to have been recovered at some point !

    Thank you. It's earlier, we think Victorian. Ideally looking for it be be accredited to a particular style/date.

    I'd think early-ish Victorian, ca. 1840-50.

    Yup, I'm inclined to mid 19th, which is why I'd like to see the castors better.
