I found this while out thrifting near Palm Springs. It measures about 5" wide, about 5.75" tall, and 7.5" long. It weighs 1.8 lbs. It appears to be entirely handmade out of black clay (there is an old chip on the rim). It has an amber, green and white sancai glaze that shows sharp crackling and hazing, and cobalt eyes. The head looks nothing like a duck, the ears are not broken pieces, they're just ears. The bottom is smooth and chalky to the touch. When touched, it has an especially resonant sound. There is a brownish red export stamp. Please help me find age and origin. Thanks!
