Age of Miniature Portrait

Hello, how would you date this miniature (9.5 cm with frame) portrait? It is not signed, but of nice quality, I think. I guess it is impossible to identify the lady, but what would the approximate period when it was made? Maybe the dress and hairstyle help dating it? Thank you very much in advance!

 

Looks to be around 1870s

Thank you both! I think it is Ilkley, Yorkshire, as there seems to be a place named Ashen Croft...

 

that's great.....but that script looks a lot newer than 1900....

 

Just the artist's last name remains a mystery, nothing when searching Hounsille...

 

komokwa, that could be, maybe the writing was added later? I do not think I was the first who opened the frame...

Spa town. Makes sense that miniature was painted in a studio.
