Is that the only mark? The font and cartouche of the 585 mark look Dutch, but if Dutch there will always be a tiny oakleaf mark as well. Not unusual, I have a 1930s Dutch wedding band which was mounted with a four leaf clover shape set with Bohemian garnets.
