After googling, I believe the symbol is the Om symbol. Not an exact match to what I saw, but close. Can anyone confirm? Also, any thought as to the age and origin of the ring? At first I thought the blue and red were enamel, but now I think maybe crushed stone?

It's an unusual ring. I don't think I have seen anything quite like it before. If you don't mind me asking how did you come to have it?

Tracey, I don't remember where I got it, I've had it for awhile. Given my habits, very likely from a local yard sale or estate sale.

Lovely, drg. It is either from Nepal or just south of the border in northern India.

Thank you AJ. Appreciate your expert input, as always. I just did some searching and there is a lot of current production, some pretty nice, some not so much.
My ring looks old to me. Do you have any thoughts as to age?
