    Hi All,
Two items I'm wondering about, airplane sheets and 6 pin coils for a shortwave radio?
I'll split them up in 2 posts
    Any information appreciated
    thanks for looking:)

#1 airplanes on transparency sheets for use with an overhead projector - what would they be for? Each sheet is 8" x 10 1/2", airplanes range from WW1 to the 1950s.

Box of CT65 6 pin coils by Raymart and a few tubes/bulbs - only 1 looks like it still might work. Would the coils be for a shortwave radio or any radio? Would these still be used? The bulbs were wrapped in a newspaper from 1955

I suspect your slides were used by the Air Cadets or Air Training Corps. They're later than the 50s, Gnats are sixties.

Geek says coils are probably short wave.

The coils forms may sell as a lot - not for a lot

The tubes are overabundant, underwanted types and sell for a buck or two if tested good

One of the things I do to keep me out of trouble is restore old tube type radios. My grandfather had a radio/TV business in his basement and I probably have 1000+ tubes, plus a very nice tube tester. Terry is right about the tubes. Most sell for a couple bucks, but some rarer ones go for quite a bit more. The coils don't go for much either. Some older, mainly military use radios used these coils for tuning different frequencies. I have a couple hundred of them as well.
