am not quite sure what this is or what is missing

    powderh1.jpg powderhorn.jpg another of mt hidden treasures, lol, It is an amimal horn with either hammered silver (no Marks) or tin, attached, I think maybe something is missing, found at an estate auction in a box, Previous owner was originally from New Mexico, and moved to this area late 40,s I think, that is my sole history,thanks for any in powderh1.jpg powderh1.jpg powderh1.jpg put
