ANCIENT OR HOAX??? VERY INTERESTING THOUGH!!

    Hi all❤️I acquired this very strange piece of pottery via a charity shop. It looks like an urn( the inside of it is sooty!)but has these symbols around it in 4 blocks. I hope someone can shed some light on this mystery. 5E1652E8-D662-44B8-AFBA-9497D0623697.jpeg

    Hi all!!!‍♀️ Thank you for your adviseThis mystery pot measures 14.5 cm width and 15cm length. It is extremely sturdy and the symbols have been scratched on it in 4 blocks around it, revealing a paler stone type material in it. I hope somebody out there knows what on earth this is all about

    It is Chinese (or more unlikely Japanese). The character which appears repeatedly is "Fu" meaning "luck". The jar does not look old IMO...

    Thank you! It has been driving me nuts that’s cool. I’m curious though to know what it could have been used for and what the whole writing means, i wonder how old it may be? So many questions
