Somebody made out this weekend! Is that agate brooch with the chain around the outside gold? The Mexican brooch with the purple glass is pretty too. At least I assume Mexican. Is the necklace at the top agate or something else?

I suspect the agate is gold. It needs testing: seller wanted fifty quid (!) as she thought it was, but that rapidly dropped to twenty when I bundled more stuff. The purple is, I think, shell rather than glass - all it says on the back is Sterling. Wannabee NA. Necklaces are carnelian on chain.

Micro mosaic and the good paste and the silver brooch and liquid silver were The Bloke Who Thinks He Knows Jewellery. He's the one who sold me a fabulous black dot paste starburst brooch for all of two quid. But hey, he sells most of his stuff at scrap price even if hallmarked. And picks my brain a bit, so there's mates rates.
