Hi guys. I found a set of spoons today for £5. First one out of the box had a hall mark on it. Imagine my disappointment when the six that followed were all EPNS. Odd thing is that I have identified them as Angora Silver Plate Co. According to Google they never made any solid silver items.

    My spoon begs to differ!

This illustrates an important lesson - don't believe everything you read on Google. ASPCo registered sponsor's marks at both Birmingham and Sheffield Assay Offices, Birmingham in 1921 and Sheffield at some time before 1928.

Cool. Thanks for the info Phil. I was starting to think it was fake. I will throw it my silver bucket. Just need to find a spare EPNS one to complete the set.
