Animal Head Skeleton Keys

    I bought these skeleton keys that have an elephant, rabbit, sheep, and horse head on them. Does anyone know the background on these and what they were used for?

    OH - look like cast repros from (INDIA) ??? All decorative items for what you want to do with them!

    I was curious where you bought these? I have a set also and these are from Hamilton Ontario and were stated form a castle. I have had these since 1977

    This thread's over a year old but still interesting. OP's keys look like cast iron, not brass.

    Modern from India. We've gotten a few gifted to us because people seem to think locksmiths need more keys and padlocks!!
