This one is almost split in half by hairline cracks but it's still holding together.
On the back it has got a smudged impressed mark of which I think the last
three letters are “VAL”. Tried to process the image to get a better look
but still don't know who the manufacturer is. Thought it might be T.Furnival potteries but the stamp doesn't look right.
Is anyone familiar with the rough outline of the stamp???
    Please excuse the yellow sticker.
    Cheers
    Stephen

I believe it may be mid to late 1700’s Italian based on the floral designs. The manner in which the flowers are presented are much in the style of Ginori and Ferniani. Above photo shows an early Ginori plate

To me the style and layout of the florals says 18th century Chinese export (style), most likely famille rose or verte. I think there was a slight revival of famille rose in the late 19th or early 20th century and I would assume the plate made back then or at some point in the 19th century anyway, looks like ironstone, probably transferware, maybe hand-coloured.

    This pattern likely inspired it:

I feel so much better now that I know the terminology for my slightly cracked rescues. Dagged.

Will that work when referring to relatives as well?

    We're more raddled. Possibly scraggly.
