Featured Another Glass "WHATZIT"

Got this in a box of glass insulators and never saw anything like it. It's pretty crude - Full of bubbles with bits of small black pieces in it. Any Ideas? I was thinking just a random Glass Blower (are we still allowed to say that? ) made Him/Her self a drinking glass. ??

 

Looks like it sits levelly? I have a glass with many similarities I know came from a crafts show. Think all the bubbles/inclusions/irregularities are intentional.

 

It sits level but top rim is not.

 

Maybe he made it when he'd already had a few?

his poor wife is trying to figure out how to run the household...paying all the bills....with his banking, passwords...on line this & that !!!

 

Does Lorenzo have a pretty good command of English or some other language in addition to Spanish? The only thing that has stayed with me from a neuropsychology lecture attended long ago was that when you learn additional languages, they are stored in a different part of the brain than the speech center where your first language resides. You can see how this would be helpful in the event of a stroke in the speech area of the brain. How is he coping with his changed circumstances?

 

He's worried about paying his bills...
He speaks spanish, english , & french , all well....
No one's mentioned that he's agitated....but they gave him a Seduko to pass the time and he threw it in a trash......& I'm concerned about his memory which still seems wonky, & he still comes out with spanish words no on understands...

He sits up..& walks a bit...so his motor functions look good.
I haven't seen him...& it seems no one has mentioned me either....which is unusual , cuz I'm the Gringo in the family !
